情報として、故意に公表されていない部分が結構ありそうな気もします。
なぜなら、ブレーキでアクセルが解除できる車なら、今行う対策は、
・ブレーキを踏んで止めて下さいと。
・エンジンを切って停止させて下さい。
と、アナウンスすればよい話なのに、マットを取り外してください。と言う事でリコールが出されている部分です。

つまり、ブレーキを踏んでも意味が無い、エンジンを切っても(切れないのかも知れない)停止できないか更に危険が増すと言う理由から、その様なアナウンスが出来ないのではないかと言う推測も出来るわけです。

何か他にも隠れてるのかもしれませんね。

特に、日本のメディアは、以前の会長発言(都合の悪いメディアからは、CMを全て引き上げればいいんだ！)がありますので、あれ以上突っ込めないというのが現状でしょう。
